Hydration

1 hr

One liter of fluid with electrolytes, with no vitamins or medication. The simplest of our drips.

What goes in

  • 1000 mL of fluid with electrolytes
  • No vitamins and no medication

Why people ask for it

  • After a long workout, a run or a game
  • Very hot days, or working in the sun
  • Long flights and time-zone changes
  • A bad night’s sleep or a long night out
  • After vomiting or diarrhea has passed, to replace fluids

Immunity Plus

B-complex + vitamin C 1 hr

High-dose vitamin C and B-complex, diluted in 1000 mL of fluid. The one people ask for most when the seasons change.

What goes in

  • High-dose vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
  • B-complex (B1, B6 and B12)
  • 1000 mL of saline

Why people ask for it

  • Changing seasons, when lots of people around you have colds
  • Before or after long trips
  • Draining weeks, with little sleep and a lot of contact with other people

Myers' Classic

B-complex + vitamin C + magnesium 1 hr

Based on the classic formula created in the 1970s by Dr. John Myers: vitamin C, B-complex and magnesium in a single infusion.

What goes in

  • Vitamin C
  • B-complex (B1, B6 and B12)
  • Magnesium sulfate
  • 1000 mL of saline

Why people ask for it

  • Weeks of fatigue and long periods of stress
  • Tiredness that rest does not fix
  • Frequent muscle tension and cramps
  • People who have had it before and like the relaxing effect of magnesium

Hangover Reset

Anti-nausea + anti-inflammatory 1 hr

For the day after a night of drinking, when nausea, vomiting, a headache or thirst will not let the day get started, with your last drink more than 6 hours ago. It is also used for a stomach bug that will not let you keep water down, with no warning signs. It relieves symptoms and replaces fluids; there is no proof that it shortens a hangover.

What goes in

  • 1000 mL of fluid with electrolytes
  • An anti-nausea medication, for nausea and vomiting
  • Stomach protection
  • An anti-inflammatory for the pain, only after part of the drip and if the doctor approves it

Why people ask for it

  • A hangover with nausea, vomiting, a headache or thirst, with your last drink more than 6 hours ago
  • Gastroenteritis with persistent nausea
  • Food poisoning
  • Vomiting that keeps you from drinking or keeping pills down

Balloon Therapy

Vitamin B12 + vitamin C 45–60 min

The lightest of the vitamin drips: vitamin B12 and vitamin C, with fluids. No magnesium, no medication and a shorter session.

What goes in

  • Vitamin B12 (cobalamin)
  • Vitamin C
  • 1000 mL of saline

Why people ask for it

  • An occasional vitamin boost
  • A vegetarian or vegan diet, where B12 intake tends to be low
  • People who want to try one before having a fuller drip

Performance Drip

Magnesium + vitamin C + B-complex 1 hr

To replace fluids and magnesium after a race or a hard workout, especially in the heat: magnesium, vitamin C and B-complex in 1000 mL of fluid. It replaces what you lost; it does not improve athletic performance.

What goes in

  • Magnesium sulfate
  • Vitamin C
  • B-complex (B1, B6 and B12)
  • 1000 mL of saline

Why people ask for it

  • After a marathon, a triathlon or another long race
  • Hard training sessions or back-to-back games, especially in the heat
  • Cramps and muscle tension after exertion
The session

How it goes, start to finish

The procedure is the same whichever drip you choose, and so is the clinical care, whether the session is at your home or at your hotel.

1

Before

Before the day, a doctor reviews your health form in a screening consultation (by video call if needed) and writes your individual prescription. On site, we go through the form with you: allergies, medication, health conditions and pregnancy. We check your blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation and temperature. If anything is not right, the session does not go ahead and we explain why.

2

During

The IV catheter is placed with sterile, single-use equipment. The nurse stays with you from start to finish, keeps an eye on how you are doing, checks your vital signs halfway through and at the end, and adjusts the infusion rate. If any reaction appears, the infusion is stopped and the situation is assessed. You can stop the session at any time, without having to explain why.

3

After

We remove the IV catheter, apply pressure to the site and keep you under observation for at least 15 minutes (30 minutes if the drip contains medication). We give you written guidance on what may come up over the next few hours, when to call 112 and the precautions to take: after drips with magnesium or medication, do not drive for the next 4 to 6 hours. We stay reachable for the rest of the day.
